Second Spectrum is honoured to announce its work with UEFA as the tracking and analytics provider for two seasons for the UEFA Women's Champions League (UWCL). The 2019-20 tournament has just completed in Northern Spain, which saw 8 teams competing to become the champions of Europe. Congratulations to Olympique Lyonnais Feminin for winning the final, which was the culmination of the European football calendar for the 2019-20 season.
Second Spectrum formed part of the UEFA Innovation Hub`s 2019 start-up challenge, and has now been appointed as the optical tracking provider for the UEFA Women's Champions League. Second Spectrum operates its state of the art optical tracking system for all matches, delivering data to UEFA and participating clubs. In addition Second Spectrum provides tactical and panoramic video, and access to its revolutionary software platform that uses Second Spectrum tracking data and Second Spectrum AI to deliver the most robust and comprehensive football content available.
