In partnership with USC, Second Spectrum hosted a group of 30 thought leaders for a daylong event to discuss wide-ranging topics at the intersection of sports and technology.
The event followed an “unconference” or loosely structured format to invite free-flowing conversation among attendees. Representatives included university professors, team and league executives, analytics directors, CEOs, and more. The sum total of the attendees’ backgrounds was impressive: nearly a dozen PhDs, 13 Masters degrees, 1 JD, nine collegiate or professional athletes, six Harvard degrees, four authors and an Oscar winner.
No media was allowed at the event to maintain the privacy of attendees.
